Mitsubishi Outlander
The new 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander in size is smaller by 1 cm than its predecessor. The model is based on a completely new universal platform that is designed for a hybrid propulsion system, as well as for conventional internal combustion engine. The car has become much stronger and lighter. The designers have reduced the weight of the glass roof of the car, suspension arms, springs, and discs - and as a result, the total mass of the Mitsubishi Outlander has decreased by 5%.
The cabin interior has become much more impressive: there are inserts under the brushed aluminum, front panel and the front door padding have changed. Steering wheel and seats are made from high quality leather. There are also nice options such as: adjustable by angle and flight steering wheel, built-in navigation, a 6-inch high-resolution screen, separate climate control, rear view camera.
The electric door trunk is the main distinguish of Mitsubishi Outlander from its competitors. Open and close the trunk lid is now possible with the remote control, the buttons under the wheel and the door itself. There is no third row of seats, their place was taken by a box for things in which there is room for luggage blinds. Also in the new model there is no electric drive of sofa folding.
The new model of Mitsubishi Outlander will be available in two versions - a 2.0 2WD and 2.4 4WD.

In Europe for car owners will be available to a third option - Outlander with a hybrid engine. The electric motor will accelerate the car to 100 km/h, and then 2-liter petrol unit will connect to the work. A hybrid Outlander fuel consumption is 1.6 liters per 100 km/h.
