If we look more deeply at the Olympics, you can see a lot of things: painful judicial errors and prejudice of judges to particular countries and athletes, as well as the athletes errors, which nullified the years of training and denied their chance to fight for a desired Olympic gold. Also can not forget the tears and disappointment of the athletes who stopped for just one step to the podium, and probably the most offensive, is a confusion of sportsmen who got second place, being the closest to the gold medal, but didn't get it.
Its impossible to forget Victoria Pendleton's tears - British Cycling (Track) legend - who lost the Sprint final, and many others, whose dream has not realized. But apart from the sad moments there were many tears of joy: ser Chris Hoy - six-time Olympic champion in the sprint and keyrine Cycling (Track) , Ruta Melitutte - 15 years swimmer from Lithuania, Felix Sanchez - 34-year old runner who won the 400 meters race , Jessica Ennis - National Star in Heptathlon and smiles and unforgettable emotions of the athletes, who were standing on the podiums, sang hymns of their countries, and wrote their names with a gold letters into the sport's history , becoming Olympic champions.
The lightning man - Usain Bolt once again has pleased everybody - he leaving no chance to his opponents on the distances 100m and 200m, and Jamaica team in 4 x 100 meters relay has also established a new world record. In addition on the Olympics in London appeared a new Legend of the Olympic Games. The American swimmer Michael Phelps became the most famous athlete in sport's history, he won 4 gold and 2 silver medals at the Olympics in London, including 16 medals which he won at the Olympics in Beijing and Athens, he collected 22 (18 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze ) Olympic medals, and thus broke the record for the famous Soviet gymnast Larissa Latynina - 18 medals (9 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze). Also admirable at the Olympic Games in London was participation of the South African sprinter Oscar Pistorius - a man with artificial limbs, which, think about it, qualified to the semifinals in the 400 meters distance, any healthy person can envy of the will of this athlete. A lot of emotions brought us the Olympics in London, but as we know everything ends, and London gave Olympic relay to Rio-de-Janeiro, where in 2016 again we will be able to feel the spirit of struggle and the will to win, to see tears of joy and disappointment, you will see the shining smile of new heroes - new Olympic Champions! We hope very much that some of them will be ours, Ukrainian athletes. But now we thank all our athletes for their victory at the London Olympics in 2012 and wish them continued success.
