April 24 to Vinnitsa district police officers conducted a two-day training seminar in collaboration with groups at risk. Policemen were taught how to protect themselves from HIV / AIDS and other socially dangerous diseases in their daily work. The seminar was organized by the Ministerstvom Interior with the support of UN agencies to combat illicit drugs. Coach project on medical issues of Moses Natalia said that conducting such training is planned in four regions of Ukraine - Odessa, Mykolaiv, Ternopil, Lviv. They are aimed at improving the ability of police officers to protect and not violatewool rights at risk, HIV / AIDS infected people to work with them and know how to protect their health while performing official duties, where to go for help in case of injury. Policemen acquainted with universal precautions and modern standards of safety. Told how to behave during detention, thesearch, conduct other investigations and in case of high risk of HIV infection. According to the chief inspector of the Department of Public Safety Internal Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Labunya such training will enable the district each in their daily work to protect themselves from infection safely work with infected persons, advise the person kudy she may request and receive the kind of help.
