In the Transcarpathian region Berehove police honored liquidators of the Chernobyl accident

On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster Acting Berehiv police department chief Vladimir Sakalosh together with law enforcement veterans laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial sign in honor berehivchan - victims of the Chernobyl katastrophy. Rally-requiem on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy took place in Central Park Beregovo. The event was attended by several hundred berehivchan. Among them are former police Beregovsky, now retired and veterans of the police, who took an active part in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. Overall, between April 1986 and December 1988 participated in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster and public order in the 30-kilometer zone was 21 Beregovsky police. Unfortunately, five of them as a result of an illness relatedof duty in Chernobyl, prematurely passed away.
