Today's World Book Day
Every year since 1996, April 23 is celebrated World Book Day. According to Wikipedia, the day was declared on 28 th session of UNESCO November 15, 1995 (Resolution 3.18). Date was chosen to commemorate the fact that the April 23, 1616 died Miguel de servntes William Shakespeare (according to the Julian calendar), Harsilaso Inca de la Vega. The decision was made to educate, awareness of cultural traditions, as well as the fact that the book is the greatest means of dissemination of knowledge, the most reliable way to preserve them.
