Rivne Region court has sentenced a woman who killed her husband
Last June, during a routine family conflict 34-year-old Alla, a resident of the village Kvasyliv Rivne region, was stabbed their peers husband Peter. From his injuries he died on the spot. The court sentenced the woman two years in prison. That evening Alla with childrenreturned from a birthday celebration. The eldest son went for a walk and three-year daughter she put her to bed. Peter rushed into the apartment and started beating the woman. According to the forensic medical examination he hit Alla more than five times what caused minor injuries. In response, the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and struck Peter penetrating two strokes at the chest and two superficial wounds. The death of her husband Mr.Astal due to stab wounds left half of the breast with heart damage, leading to severe internal and external bleeding and massive blood loss. District Police investigators sent to the court proceedings on indictment under paragraph 1 of Article 115 (murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. During the trialrevealed that the accused to defend themselves against attacks on their lives and health by her husband, exceeded the limits of self-defense, committing murder, responsibility for which is provided for in Article 118 (premeditated murder in excess of necessary defense) Criminal Code of Ukraine appointed her sentence as pozbavlennya by up to two years. Alla in complete repentance facilitated detection of crime. However, the aggravating factor is that it is at the time of the commission of a criminal offense in a state of intoxication.
