In Vinnytsia police investigating the circumstances of the accident, which injured 73-year-old pensioner
Vinnytsia driver Renault Kangoo hit a pedestrian. 73-year-old victim is in serious condition in hospital. The accident occurred February 25 about seven o'clock in the evening. 39-year-old driver of Renault Kangoo, resident Vinnytsia region, drivenpursuit of opportunities in the street Kotsyubynskogo admitted hitting a pedestrian. 73-year-old victim was crossing the road on the roadway unregulated pedestrian crossings. With an open head injury and a broken leg pensioner admitted to hospital. Investigation Department of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse, etc.avyl road safety or operation of transport persons who are driving). For the offense is punishable by imprisonment for a term up to 3 years of deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years or without it. The investigation is underway.
