Ivano-Frankivsk discuss the German experience of voluntary fire brigades (teams) in village councils

in Ivano-Frankivsk from 25 to 27 February is training workshop on « Establishment of voluntary fire brigades (teams) in rural and town councils » for local government officialsactivists and volunteer fire units. The seminar was organized by the Ivano-Frankivsk regional center of retraining and professional employees of state agencies, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations in cooperation with the Office DSNS in and with the support and assistance of Hanns Seidel Foundation (The Federal Republic of Germany). At the opening of the seminar was attended by Dr. J?rgen Valhshofer – referent of Hanns Zayhelya, Walter Schwab – Head of the district fire department, retired, Nazar Kosarevych – Head of ensuring regional monitoring programs and budget analysis executive office Ivano-Frankivsk raidssnoyi Council, Vitaly Fedunkiv – Deputy Head of DSNS and area director of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional center of retraining and professional employees of state agencies, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations Bogdan Voloshynska. Opening the seminar, Dr. J?rgen Valhshofer stressed that this project is promising and necessary in German colleagues gained extensive experience on the subject. In turn, Nazar Kosarevych noted that community initiatives and local government under various projects are becoming more leverage to influence aimed at improving the present. Vitaly Fedunkivas in his report drew attention to the importance and relevance of the training workshop, because 70 percent of the total number of fires occur Carpathian region is rural, and the remoteness of some settlements to public fire departments in reaching forty kilometers, which makes it the possibility of firecars arrive in time to the fire. Opening the practical part of the seminar, the chief inspector of state supervision and control management DSNS in Vladimir Shkromyda informed the guests and participants of relief and technological specifics Carpathian and types of emergencies specific to our region and devicconducted on the status of the fire and industrial safety in the area. Overall, this training workshop will consider the case of fire in Germany, including the establishment of voluntary fire brigades in the community, pay attention to the legal framework, organizational and practical aspects of voluntary fire protection in Ukraineand creating and state fire units of local governments in the region and discuss the problems of adaptation of German experience with public involvement in issues of fire safety in the community.
