ammunition February 22 operatives of the Criminal Investigation Chernyakhivskiy in district police department arrested 56-year-old local resident, in which a jacket pocket found 26 ammunition caliber 5.6 mm, carefully wrapped in a plastic bag. All ammunition were seized and sent to studtion to the Research Forensic Centre at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Now the police find out the origin of ammunition. It should be noted that Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for the possession, storage, acquisition, construction, repair, transfer or sale of firearmsher weapon (other than smoothbore hunting guns), ammunition, explosives or explosive devices without statutory authority determined the punishment of imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years. However, the legislation provides for exemption from criminal liability of persons who voluntarily surrendered weapons authorities foryovi supplies, explosives or explosive devices.
