Office of Youth and Sports of Lviv Regional State Administration invites you to participate in regional action to Mother Language Day under the theme of "The native language - the power of the people." The press service of the LOSA February 21 the world celebrates International Mother Language Day, proclaimed by the General Conference of UNESCO 17 werestopada 1999. UNESCO acted for the Rapprochement of Cultures and their active cooperation, particularly in matters of language, because language is considered an important tool of the spiritual heritage of the world. In celebration of Mother Language Day Department for Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration invited to participate in the action « In the native language – force people & raquo ;. Its goal is to urge young people to develop and communicate Lviv Ukrainian, draw attention to the problems of Ukrainian language culture.
