Day of genocide of the Armenian population is considered to be day April 24, 1915, when the Young Turk rulers, among which the main role played three: Talaat Pasha, Enver Pasha and Cemal Pasha - were ordered to gather all Armenian intellectuals in Istanbul and deported. Many were killed that day. Over the next three yearskilled more than 1.5 million Armenians, others fled or were expelled by the Turks in Mesopotamia, Lebanon, Syria through the desert, where most of them died because of famine and disease.
