In Vinnytsia Tomashpil police seized a rifle from a local resident
rifle of unknown brand 66-year-old man kept in his house. Now for the illegal handling of weapons he faces up to 7 years in prison. Yesterday, in the course of working in the village Werbowy police found and seized a rifle of unknown maring in the house of a local resident. The weapons sent to the Research Forensic Centre at the regional police for examination. In this incident initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) that is punishable by imprisonmentfor up to 7 years. Police Vinnichiny reminds that the region continues monthly voluntary surrender of weapons, ammunition and explosives illegally stored population. Citizens who voluntarily turn in municipal regional Internal Affairs in the community with the aim of putting weapons will be exempt from criminal and administrativetive responsibility.
