In the Rivne region lack of lighting - increased danger to road users
Management Inspectorate Rivne region is extremely concerned about the increasing number of accidents, particularly on the international road of national importance "Kyiv-Chop". The analysis shows that there has been a growth in the number of accidents,which resulted in killed and injured people. So, this year on 15 April on the highway "Kyiv-Chop" has registered seven accidents involving pedestrians, where six people were killed and one - injured. It should be noted that the hospital is not functioning external artificial lighting within 5 settlements andtwo intersections. Namely, in the villages and Zhatkivka Bran Koretsky district, village Babin Goshcha district, village Antopil Rivne region, village hearty Radyvyliv region, the transport interchange at two levels (340 km) and at the intersection at the entrance to the city of Dubna (km 375). It should be noted that one of the factors related causes of accidents is to commitessence of light on the road, which affects the ability of the driver to see the obstacle ahead and react according to changing road conditions.
