Cabinet approved the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on introduction of contractual forms in the field of culture." After the adoption of the heads of all cultural institutions, without exception, not just the state but also municipal ownership will be required to pass a competition, and after them will sign a contract with the winner of the contest, a period of 5 years ", - said the official. The document developedMinistry of Culture of Ukraine in the implementation of reforms in the sector. The bill provides that the heads of state and municipal cultural institutions appointed to the position solely on the results of the competition by making cultural institution founded on contract for five years. Art and artistic personnel of the Statex and municipal cultural institutions (theater actors, artists Philharmonic, creative ensembles, circuses, etc.) shall be appointed to the post by the results of the competition by contracts for up to three years. Final provisions of the bill also provides that: - With workers of art and artistic staff, who in momentst the Law of the governmental and municipal cultural institutions, contracted for three years without competition; - From heads of state and municipal cultural institutions, which at the time of the enactment of the Law on indefinite work contract of employment entered into a contract for five years withoutof the tender; - Heads of state and municipal cultural institutions, which at the time of entry into force of the Law of contract, tenure to its expiration. The draft update will allow leaders of the state and municipal cultural institutions, organize labor relations with professionalcreative workers of cultural institutions, stimulate their creative activity, to ensure the effective application of the guidance institution of their creative potential, aligning the scope of public relations to Western practices.
