In Ternopil village leader was sentenced to 5 years in prison for receiving improper benefits
verdict listened former head of one of the village councils of Ternopil region. Officer found guilty of receiving illegal benefits. During the preliminary investigation it was found that the official demanded and received bribes amounting to 1900 ManeHb assistance in exporting 126 tons of clay-rock mixed with a career area. The transfer of money documented management employees of the State Service for Fighting Economic Crime Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Ternopil region. The suspect was charged under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. After completion dosu-trial investigation police transferred the case to court. Village head was five years imprisonment with restraint to hold positions in local government for three years, with confiscation of property.
