Of customs post "Luzhanka" Transcarpathian customs DFS tried for receiving improper benefits
Zakarpattia Oblast Prosecutor's Office over pre-trial investigation and sent to court indictment against two employees of the Transcarpathian customs DFS, who are accused of receiving improper benefits in the amount of 9 thousand USD. These fundscustoms officers received Transcarpathians for assistance in moving through the border of Ukraine without paying customs duties. They were exposed in obtaining these funds prosecutors Transcarpathian region together with employees of the SBU Special Forces in the area. Currently, the results of the preliminary investigation, the evidence that pidtverdzhuyut past guilt of a criminal offense under Part. 3. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obtaining undue advantage by an official who holds a responsible position or by prior conspiracy). Sanction this Article provides for punishment of imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years, with disqualification to holdand certain positions for up to 3 years with confiscation of property and with a special forfeiture.
