Lutsk utility replicate the European experience of waste management in Polish colleagues

Valery Kovalyuk, representatives of municipal services Lutsk visited the workshop in Hill (Poland). The trip was part of the project "Development of utilities as part of sustainable urban development of the Polish-Ukrainian border", which co-funded with CBC Poland-Billorus-Ukraine 2007-2013. This is the first seminar of 6 planned, the subject of the event - "Waste management - ways of implementing rules and regulations of the European Union in Poland and Ukraine." Participants had an opportunity to listen to lectures Olgerda Byelyaka, who spoke about the principles of treatment of municipal waste in the EU Member States and funding sourcesconstruction waste management. Deputy Head of Department, Head of the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of household waste the National Commission for State Regulation of utilities, Mikhail Andreev developed the issue of legislative regulation of the problem ofwaste in Ukraine. Miroslav Mysyak - Head of agriculture, the environment and the defense of the city municipal Hill told Ukrainian colleagues about the principles of waste management in the territory of the commune Hill. Interesting presentations were fellow practitioners - Andrzej Mucha - Deputy Director of Technical Affairs Factory PereraBKI municipal waste Kholmsk region and Valery Kuzmich - Director "Lutskspetskomuntransu" who shared their experience in the field of waste management. All performances provoked lively discussion during which participants tried to solve common problems, share experiences and outline ways for future cooperation. Parallel to the workshop heldmeeting of experts from the following areas - housing. Polish and Ukrainian experts agreed on further work identified the main problem areas that will be opened in the next seminar will take place in Lutsk.
