Opportunities, challenges and risks of decentralization reform in Ukraine

March 12 Anatoliy Tkachuk, MP of Ukraine, the calling, Director of Civil Society, the European expert conducted a workshop on "The beginning of decentralization reform in Ukraine: opportunities, objectives, risks ". The event was held underchaired by Deputy Chairman - Chief of Staff of Lesya stem and first deputy head of the regional council Victor Adamski. Leo V. acted with opening remarks, welcomed the participants and wished all present constructive work. Ukraine has adopted a number of laws and initiated practical steps to reform aimedis to create self-sustaining communities and giving them more authority to address local issues of socio-economic development and thus increase their responsibility for the results. The Khmelnytsky oblast is 1451 settlements, including urban - 37, united in 13 city and 24 town councils and tacos1414 same village, belonging to 568 village councils. So the need to unite the inhabitants of many settlements in the field of sustainable community is obvious and long overdue. Decentralization process that began in the state actualized much work in this direction in the region and increased responsibility performers. It is very important from thebeginning of this work to clarify and understand the practical aspects of the reform process of decentralization to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to everyone at their level qualitatively fulfilled the mission entrusted to him, and all together - reached improve the lives of people in communities.
