In the Transcarpathian region Chorus " Santus " ushanuye memory of Michael Krechko concert for his works

Sept. 30 Academic Chamber Choir "Santus" invites you to an evening of memory of Michael Krechko dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Transcarpathia. Michael Krechko born September 5, 1925 in s.Poroshkovo in Perechyn. Higher musicgraduated from the Kiev State Conservatory (1954), teacher (1972) and Professor (1990) which became later. Well-known Ukrainian composer, choral conductor, singer, People's Artist of the USSR, Mikhail Krechko led the leading national music groups, including the Transcarpathian Folk Choir (1954-1969), Choir "Dumka", RepublicanChildren's Musical Theater in Kyiv and others. Many famous artists now say with great honor of the composer's contribution to the development of Ukrainian music as the artist of personal outlet for his own work, including his teacher called Michael Krechko and People's Artist of Ukraine, artistic director and conductor of the chamber choir "Cantus" Emyl Sokach. Heritage Krechko Michael has many musicological works, folklore collections, the original author's works and arrangements of popular songs, mostly folk. The most popular treatments are "birds flew over the water", "Oi na playu", "Ivankov, Ivanku", "Pade rain", "flowing water is cloudy," "Ruby Do not hazel." On the evening of memory MicahLa Krechko performed by the choir "Cantus" sound folk music, arrangements of folk songs and works by Ukrainian composers.
