In Chernihiv region precautions for the prevention of African swine fever
Over the past few months in Chernihiv found several cell disease African swine fever. In view of this, the meetings of regional and district emergency committees antiepizootic during which the approved plans and measures to eliminate insufficiencyassumption spread of the disease. The territories of the villages announced on disadvantaged African swine fever and established quarantine zones. The working group which included representatives of the authorities, rescuers, veterinarians and police officers, a number of measures to prevent spread of the causative agent. In connection ’connection with this, the rescuers ask owners of farms and farmers who keep pigs, observe the following precautions to prevent animal diseases: - Provide the pig population for vaccination veterinary services (against classical swine fever, erysipelas); - Hold only pigs indoors (barns, Shed), not walking on their terytoriyi settlements, especially those located near the forests; - Pigs and room for their maintenance each decade treated with a solution of insects, always keep a rodent; - No pigs are imported without the consent of Derzhvetsluzhboyu; - Do not use in swine diets of animal feed, especially waste slaughter of wild animals;- No pigs in contact with other animals; - On all cases in pigs immediately notify the state veterinary institutions.
