In the Lviv region Sambir police detained a man with a package of poppy heads evening of September 8
employees rapid response team discovered and seized 28-year-old resident of Sambir plastic bag in which there were 70 heads poppy. It happened during a patrol of public order in one of the villages in the area. Driveobusniy stop police noticed a suspicious man with a plastic bag in his hand. The patrol decided to ask its contents and found narkosyrovynu. As it turned out, the man had previously been repeatedly convicted and is now registered in Sambir Gorotdel police. This fact was documented. A criminal bowtion on the grounds of committing a crime under part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transportation or transfer of narcotics, psychotropic substances or their analogues not for selling purposes). Sanction article provides for punishment by a fine ranging from fifty to one hundred untaxed minimumincomes, or correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment for up to six months, or imprisonment for up to three years, or imprisonment for the same term.
