Ukraine has one of the best indicators of self-sufficiency in the world food and produces 2.5 times more grain than domestic market consumes. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko at a joint press conference with ASDstupnykom Chairman - state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Nina Sidorenko at the press center of the Government. He stressed that the country has been positive and quite predictable situation of food security. In particular, according to preliminary estimates, cereal production is expected to reach 60.5 million tons. Given these factors, all types of self-grain harvest in Ukraine in 2015 will amount to 252%. "This is 2.5 times more than domestic consumption.
