Judge criminal group that specialized in committing robberies in Zakarpattia and Lviv regions
Transcarpathian region prosecutor's office has approved and sent to court for consideration on the merits of the indictment concerning organized criminal group composed of five persons charged under part. 4. 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery committed inan organized criminal group). Pre-trial investigation established that one inhabitant of Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts four residents during October 2014 – March 2015 committed 15 robberies in the territory Tiachiv, Volovets, Transcarpathian region Khust districts and Drohobych, Skole, Starosambirskoho, Lviv region Turka district in single or elderly persons at their place of residence. Before that, members of the criminal group visited the old pretext of selling cheap clothes, and then learn about their financial status. Thus, criminals seized cash and valuables in almost half a million hryvnia. Now all tspeny OCG custody. Reference sanctions under part 4 st.187 Criminal Code of Ukraine, defendant threatened punishment of imprisonment from 8 to 15 years with confiscation of property.
