Youth team of Ukraine on fire and applied sport ranked third in the World Junior Championship

From 2 to August 9 youth team of Ukraine on fire and applied sport took part in the VI World Championship among youth and juniors, held in the city. Grodno of Belarus. World Championship held under the auspices of the International Joint Ventureortyvnoyi Federation of firefighters and rescuers which was attended by 10 teams from 9 countries, namely Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Slovakia, South Korea and Russia. Ukrainian team was represented by athletes from Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Rivne, Mykolaiv, Lviv State University life safety. Championshipheld in a tense struggle among competitors. Young men competed in all kinds of fire-rescue program (fire and applied) sport, in three age groups: younger age group, the average age group and older age group (Junior). According to the results of competitions Ukrainian athletes took third team place and won 1 silverand 13 bronze medals. The overall ranking of the results of the competition: first team place was the team of the Czech Republic, second – Russia and third – Ukraine. After the winners of the competition were presented with cups, medals, diplomas and prizes from the organizers of the competition.
