Chernivtsi celebrated the 75th anniversary of the region noted
75th anniversary of Chernivtsi region. On this occasion, government officials, religious denominations, NGOs and national-cultural associations, youth and student care about the townspeople came to Chernivtsi Central Square to pray for peace in the country and the region. GoalPeninsula Regional State Administration Oleksandr Fyschuk, Regional Council Chairman Michael Haynycheru, Mayor Alex Kaspruk laid flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko. Finally there was the anthem of Ukraine. In Music and Drama Theater named Olga Kobylianska also held a solemn meeting with representatives of the government of Ukraine.
