In Zhytomyr per day rescuers eliminated 17 fires extinguished 10 hectares of dry grass burning
Per night of 4 to 5 July Zhytomyr rescuers had to travel 17 times for liquidation of fires. The vast majority of them caused by weather conditions – Excessive heat and windy conditions and rough handling of citizens with fire. In particular, there have been eight fires in ecosystems – burning dry grass in the northern region. Firefighters extinguished the burning grass 10.2 hectares, mostly on reserve lands councils. In 3 cases DSNS experts called for the elimination of fires caused by ignition of garbage in open areas.
