In Ivano-Frankivsk City Council denied the name Pushkin Boulevard North
deputies decided to rename and name streets in Ivano-Frankivsk During the second plenary meeting of the 56 session of city council deputies considered the decision to name two streets. While discussing the City Council Vladimir Mornous expressed the proposal to rename the Northern Boulevard S.Pushkina behalf of the North Boulevard. As the deputy of decision making has long street residents themselves, because personality Pushkin is not unique in Ukrainian history. Such a proposal is not supported by Mayor Victor Anushkevychus stating that a person ought Pushkinbut taken globally, not because of his individual mistakes. However, the deputy Vladimir Chornous proposal supported by the majority of deputies of the city council, thus depriving the North Boulevard named after Pushkin. From the way the city is now replenished the new street names, including: - St. Gum; - St. Hrabova; - St. Bukova; - St. Maple; -st. Kalynova; - St. Fir; - St. Apricot; - St. Grape; - St. Pear; - St. Crimson; - St. Orange; - St. Plum; - St. Cherry; - St. Apple.
